I am taking off to Duluth, the BWCA, then Duluth again over the course of the next several days. The housesitter is even nice enough to watch all of the pets in our absence. What a nice fella. (sucker)

It does look lovely. But I always wonder why it seems all the best places also have mosquitoes. I'm sure there's some philosophical explanation, but I'm also sure I won't like it.

@JR - Philosophy? Really? I should have known you'd put me to work, just kidding, I only blame you because the mosquitos demand it.

Barb - True on all counts, except with all the rain I think the mosquitos may have eaten the black flies.
GC - Where are you going for your break? We are back and safe and it was a wonderful time.
VE - I drained my blood prior to going and replaced it with pure alcohol. Now there's a bunch of northwoods mosquitos just begging for a DUI.
